Yoga for Every Journey: Cultivating Mind, Body, and Spirit

Why yoga?

  • Embrace physical challenge while learning to better understand your own anatomy.

  • Expand your lung capacity to balance your body and feel more calm in your day to day life.

  • Develop peace of mind through active meditation which can relieve stress, reduces depression, and help you feel more engaged in life.

Yoga is a system of combining breath, movement, and mental focus to better know yourself.

My Yoga Journey

As a teenager, I was committed to long distance running, but after breaking four bones in my foot at the age of 19, I could barely walk, let alone run, without pain. Something need to change. It was then that I first discovered yoga.

After practicing yoga for over ten years, I completed my first teacher training at Arise Yoga in Crown Heights . I left with an excitement to teach at the intersection of spirituality, meditation, and brain-body connection, and soon I began teaching at studios across New York.

In 2024, I wanted to deepen my training and so I flew to India to study at Samyak Yoga Ashram in Mysore, India. There I completed advanced teacher studies in Hatha, Yin, Nidra, Pranamyam, and yogic philosophy.

Since starting my teaching practice, I have offered yoga in collaboration with organizations including Romemu, Lab/Shul, Moishe House, OrHalev, Congregation Beth Elohim, Temple of the Stranger, and Ruach to deliver transformative embodied experiences.
